WEX is developing a new class of non-opioid analgesics. The Company’s proprietary platform is Tetrodotoxin (TTX), a highly selective sodium channel blocker. WEX’s lead product based on TTX is in Phase III clinical development for the treatment of cancer-related pain.
WEX has completed five clinical trials with TTX, with more than 200 patients treated to date.
